What a beautiful area Maggy Valley is. That is where we are now. Drove 117 miles today from Cleveland, GA. to Maggy Valley, NC. Nice campground Creekwood Farm RV Park. Only issue we encountered,was a little white knuckle driving in the mountains in the rain. I was the first time I have driven in the mountains, and the rain made it a little scary. But, we made it with no problem. We are looking forward to the Escapee Chapter 29 Rally we are attending here. After this stop, we will be heading towards Nashville for an Escapee Chapter 42 Rally. Longer stops now. We will be here for 6 days. Next stop is for a week.

When we lived in the Atlanta area, we enjoyed many weekend getaways in the Helen--Cleveland--Dillard--Franklin--Cherokee area. Never stayed in Maggie Valley, but we went there. It was only a couple hours from our house in Duluth. Enjoy!
