It has been a while since I updated our blog, so I thought I would just do a quick update. We have had the coach repaired and it looks really good. Only took 2 trips to General RV in Orange Park. They did not have all the parts when we got it out of the shop the last time, but now all the tire damage is repaired and it does look GREAT! We wanted to get the kitchen slide fixed (it has a small issue), but Forest River sent the wrong parts and we are now awaiting either the correct parts to arrive or the explanation on how to install the ones they sent that are supposed to be suitable replacements. We think we have a resolution to our complaint with Camping World. It got to the point where Marcus' solution crew will not answer my emails and the general manager of the Lake City Store has stopped communicating with me at all. I wrote to Marcus' crew about his lack of communication skills, but the are ignoring me. I talked with our ASD's locally who suggested that I contact the store manager of the Camping World in Jacksonville, and he has been VERY helpful. I wanted to deal with them to begin with, but they were out of stock when all this started. Once this is resolved, I will write Marcus again and let him know the results, even though it appears he does not care. As for the house, we still have not closed, but we are hoping for this Wed. I still have to get the truck fixed, there is a leak in the power steering system, and I just need the truck to move our house, and the truck is our only mode of transportation. Once we get the coach settled in one spot for a week or so, I'll make an appointment to have it repaired. I hope it is something simple, but I do have an extended warranty, so I know that my cost will be limited. Anyway, that pretty well updates us for now.
