Long Time Since Updated!

I just looked and it has been 15 days since I last updated everyone!  We have done a lot in that 2 weeks!  We left Saguaro Escapee Co Op park and came to Davis-Monthan AFB Fam Camp!  It won Fam Camp of the year for 3 years straight, 2009, 2010 & 2011.  It really is a nice park, and still only $20 per night.  If there is anything to complain about, is the water pressure.  It is low most of the time,

You may note that we even have a "garden" next to our site.

While we have been in the Tucson area, we have spent a lot of time sight seeing!  We have been to the Dessert Museum.  It was a very interesting trip.

We also visited the Titan II Museum!  This is a really interesting tour.  I would highly recommend it to anyone who might be in the area.

We have been to a couple of State Parks and the scenery is really beautiful!

Of course, we had to take another scenic tour.

Today we went to "Old Tucson".  This is a must stop for anyone when they come to this area.   Many, many movies were made here and it a very interesting place to visit.

To make it short, we have just been having fun!  We are headed to Rovers Roost next week, another Escapee CO Op park!  I'll try to update more often.
Y'all travel safe, and I'll type more later!

April is here already!

Today is the first of April and it has been 2 weeks since I updated the blog.  We have had a nice two weeks!  We left Usery Mountain Regional Park and went to Canyon Vista RV Resort for 4 days.  We had a coupon for 3  free nights and they let us stay the 4th night with Passport America, so we got 4 nights for $25!  This is a CanAm park, which are very nice parks.  This park was no exception.

When we left Canyon Vista, we went to Tucson KOA for the Escapee Chapter 21 Rally.  This used to belong to Lazy Days, but the recently let it go to KOA.  This is also a very nice park.  We really enjoyed our time the with the folks of Chapter 21.  We were certainly made welcome and these folks have fun!  If we are ever in the area again when they are having a function, we will attend!

While we were with Chapter 21, we took a tour of the ASRSCO Copper mines.  This was a very interesting tour, and we learned a lot.  We also took a tour of the Titan Missle Museum.  A must if you are in this area.

  The Titan Museum

This museum is also a MUST see if in the area!

One we left Tucson KOA, we drove the arduous 47 miles to Saguaro  Escapee CO OP park.  This is a beautiful park.  I think if we were going to stay in this area, we would purchase a lease here.

Yesterday, we drove to

Chiricahua National Monument.  This is a beautiful area and it amazes Debby and I how the rocks can be stacked as they are.

We are going to do  more tourist stuff before we head back to Tucson, so I'll update y'all later.  Travel safe!
