Finally able to get onto Blogger

Hi Folks!  I have not been able to get onto Blogger for over a month, and when I got on today, I found it has been almost 2 months since I have posted.  If you have wondered if I died, sorry, not just yet.
Since my last post, we finally got appointments for Debby's Cataract surgery.  I had to file a complaint against the scheduler and we got a call from someone else that gave Debby her first surgery appointment.  She had her first eye (left) done on the 23 of January.  I did find out that the scheduler is on a disability, and was allowed to take 480 hours off.  Of course, she decided to take Mondays and Fridays off.  I can't fault her for that, as that is probably what I would do, but she STILL does NOT return calls.  Last I heard from her department head, she had not been to work for 8 days and had not called in.  I asked him if she had abandoned her job?  He just went "Hummmm".
So anyway, Debby's left eye is doing better and her right eye is scheduled for the 20th of February.
We have been at NAS Jacksonville RV Park since the 19th of November, and have reservations through the 31st of March.  We do not want to stay here that long, but will stay until Debby had been medically cleared to travel.
We did take a trip to Thousand Trails Orlando for one night and then went to HamCation at the Orange County Fairgrounds.  We enjoyed HamCation as I picked up a couple of items I wanted and Debby and I both got to visit with friends that we don't get to see very often.
A few of the I.O.O.K. group was there and we camped together.  John & Jan Hartman, Lou & Sandy Pauly and Skip & Jan Prat parked with us and we had a great time.

We took a trip to SpaceCraft Electronic Parts and Hardware.  If you need just about anything, that's the place to go.
Earlier in February, we went to the Escapees Chapter 57 Luncheon in Clermont, FL at the Golden Corral.  It was good to see so many folks that we had not seen in so long.

While we were at HamCation, we were able to attend a couple of happy hours and a luncheon with the RV Service Net and RV Radio Network folks.  It was good to see them as we rarely get to get with them.

Of Course as we have been at NAS Jax since 19 November, we have been able to have Thanksgiving and Christmas with the kids and we had the honor to visit Bob and Kimi Willie.  It was good to be able to see them.

Well, I guess I have gotten you caught up.  I will let you know how Debby's right eye turns out.  She had not had the results with her left eye she had hoped, but it does seem to get better every day.

Y'all travel safe, and I'll type more later.
