Update

Today we moved from Thousand Trails Verde Valley to Page Lake Powell RV Park.  It was an interesting drive to say the least.  We got turned around twice and had cooling trouble with the truck.  It did straighten out with no more problems, but I do not know what caused it.  All seems to be well now.  When we finally got to the campground, the folks who pulled in before us did not leave any room for anyone else, so we had a tough time getting into the campground.  If they would have pulled up as the sign said, it would have made life easier.  Once we got into our site, the days events weren't over.  Debby put the leveler wedge in backwards, and the coach fell off of the front jacks.  I got my bottle jack out and got it up high enough to get the truck under it and got it set back up.  To show how rough the ride was today, our in bed fuel tank moved and pulled up 4 of the 6 hold down bolts.  It was a very rough ride.  We will be here for 4 nights and will enjoy some to the Utah national parks from here.  Then we will head up to Hatch, Utah and do some more parks before we head east to Colorado.  We are really looking forward to more beautiful scenery!  We sure got an eye full of the beauty of Northern Arizona on the way here.  Y'all travel safe and I'll type more later!

  1. Sorry to hear about your misfortunes of today. Surely things will get better. Enjoy Utah. Will you be seeing The Great Salt Lake?

  2. Just a few glitches on the road of full-timing...each day a new adventure (in more ways than one) :-) ....by the way...sorry to hear you'll be turning east -- I love Colorado and the Rockies, but if you haven't visited the great Northwest...you're missing out on outstanding beauty and wonderful weather....just sayin'.....if you don't have any time constraints or defined plans...you're 'almost there'.....where ever you go, safe journey and happy travels.
